Special Message

And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will show mercy unto her that hath not obtained mercy; and I will say unto them that were not My people, "Thou are My people: and they shall say, Thou are My God!" Hosea 2:23

At Central Baptist Church of Bladensburg, God's chosen in Jesus Christ have been awakened and empowered to receive the promises of God for restoration as a congregation. In 2001, we were broken, and struggling to pick up the pieces. Satan sought to sift us as wheat. But satan was and is a liar! And through the power of God, we have persevered, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are what the Bible says we are, "a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that we should show forth the praises of Him that has called us out of darkness and into His marvellous light!
And He is calling you also...from the depths of despair...from the deceit of earthly riches and the false security of carnal relationships...even from the false promise of self-sufficiency. I pray with all that is in me that you heed His call and come to Jesus today so that you too can become "a person belonging to God " through his Son Jesus Christ!
